When it was born (1972), the Honda Civic was known as a subcompact. Now, several decades on, it's become larger and more refined, and has joined the compact car segment. And a pretty impressive compact car it is, too! Available in two engine sizes (1.0L and 1.5L, both petrol), which are both boosted by turbos to deliver decent performance and low running costs, the Civic is also stuffed full of new tech, such as multi-link rear suspension, which makes the latest hatchback an even better driving experience than previous models. Plus, if you're the kind of person who likes your car to look distinctive, you won't go wrong with the latest Civic, some models of which - the Sport models, for example - look positively space-age, though they all have what some would call eccentric touches. But that good, right? What's more, Honda have made the Civic bigger than before, at 30mm longer than a Vauxhall Astra and boasting a 2.7m wheelbase that's among the longest in class. This means there's that there's considerable rear-seat legroom, and lots of boot space. So, if you're looking for a car that combines affordability with punchy performance and lots of practical touches - the Honda Civic could well be for you!

Built as a successor to the iconic EK9 Civic Type R, the EP3 Civic is one of the most popular hatchbacks ever made. Assembled exclusively in Swindon, England, it was the first of many Civic Type Rs to be designed and built in England. First introduced in 2001, the EP3 remained in production until 2006. So happy with this car has that sporty look that everyone appreciates. Its a quality made vehicle the engine if looked after will go on forever. It has enough grunt to give that good feeling when you beat someone of the line(LOL). It is excellent on petrol and the maintenance cost is very reasonable. Read more
